Disturbing dashcam video shows a New Mexico woman being dragged from a car by sheriff's deputies and slammed facedown, all while she says she was having a diabetes attack.
Santa Fe County Sheriff Robert Garcia said his office is investigating the troubling incident caught on video.
"In this case there was no resistance. We are looking at that very seriously," Garcia told KOTV on Thursday.
In the video, time-stamped July 12, a deputy shatters the car window of Revina Garcia, who had just rear-ended a vehicle at a traffic stop.

The woman said she was having a severe diabetes attack and was completely disoriented.
"I was just lost, I was just lost," Garcia said. "I just didn't know how to open the door.
Limp, she is pulled out her car and forced to the ground by deputies who cuff her, then walk away. Garcia said her blood sugar was so low she could have slipped into a coma.
"What concerns me is there is no need to lay someone on the ground for that amount of time. There were other deputies around that could have assisted in at least sitting her up or having her placed in a cruiser," the sheriff said.

With her face on the asphalt, Garcia is left lying in the street for more than a minute, then is shoved into the back of a patrol car.
Paramedics arrived about 10 minutes later and treated her for low blood sugar.
The sheriff said he plans to meet with Garcia and her family.
